R. Scott Steinbach was born in Austin, Texas, April 23, 1956. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and graduated from St. Mary's University of San Antonio with a Juris Doctor degree with distinction in 1981. During law school he was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor fraternity and the John M. Harlan Honor Society. For his outstanding scholastic achievement, he was a recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in 1979. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1981. Following law school, Mr. Steinbach served as a briefing Attorney for the 13th Court of Appeals from 1981 to 1982. He served as the Law Clerk for the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas, Corpus Christi Division, form 1982 to 1983. Since 1983, he has engaged in the private practice of law in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. He is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the United States District courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas. Mr. Steinbach is Board Certified in Residential Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1989. Founded in Dallas in 1964 by F. WILLS AND TRUST: We prepare wills and trust, durable powers of attorney, physician directives, living wills, and all other estate planning documents. PROBATE: We provide services for the probating of wills, appointment of guardians, adoptions, name changes, and all other probate matters. DIVORCE: We provide divorce litigation services for contested and uncontested divorces.
